It’s my 45th birthday in January and what better way to celebrate than to team up with Criztoz aka Fortyfiveday to host We Love 45s Düsseldorf.

We’ll be meeting up with local and international DJs to share our passion for great music on 45's (7” vinyl) over the weekend in various venues throughout Düsseldorf.

On Friday 16th we’ll be in Bar Konvex where we’ll be using the 7 Deadly 7”s format with each DJ playing a 20 minute set of their 7 deadliest 7”s before the next DJ takes over. The choice of music is completely up to the DJ depending on what they consider to be a deadly 7".

On Saturday afternoon we’ll be rocking the dance floor in JC Academy Hip Hop am Rhein with the DJs spinning an eclectic mix of music for the dancers to get down to.

And then in the evening we’ll be going underground into Schleuse Zwei (Bilker Bunker) for the after party into the wee hours of the morning.

In between all of this there will be eating, drinking and of course record shopping to top up those crates.
